Our dance classes combine the love of dance and creative movement all whilst immersing themselves in the English language.
Lydia School of dance follow the British International Dance Teachers Association ( IDTA ) Syllabus. Exam work is taught within class times and we offer examinations in all genres that we teach. We also offer a yearly show performance in a theatre. Our show is not like your typical dance recital. It is a huge production, and we put a lot of creative efforts into the show each year to make it the best it can be. We love our show and our goal is to make every dancer feel extra special!

If music gets your feet moving, then tap dance is for you. Tap uses shoes with metal plates, in which you perform the art of percussion with the feet.
Hip Hop classes are available for both girls and boys from age 4 years. It is a fun rhythmical, upbeat, energetic class. The children will improve their coordination and their sense of rhythm.
Ballet Classes are available to both boys and girls from age 3 years. My aim is to increase the awareness of this beautiful, fun classical art by developing a love of dance through lots of mime, imagery and especially composed music.
